Privacy Policy

Overview

Volptima GmbH ("Volptima", "we") is the data controller for data processed through this website. We do not use cookies, do not track individuals across websites, and do not collect personal identifiers such as names or email addresses.

What We Collect

We collect pseudonymised analytics data to understand how our website is used:

  • Page views and referrer URLs
  • Country of origin
  • UTM campaign parameters (if present in the URL)
  • Company name derived from publicly available IP registry (ASN) data
  • An irreversible hash of your IP address

Raw IP addresses are processed transiently but are not stored. The resulting IP hash is pseudonymised data under the GDPR — it cannot practically be reversed to identify an individual, but we treat it as personal data and apply appropriate safeguards.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service that collects aggregate page-view data without storing personal identifiers.

What We Do NOT Collect

  • No cookies, localStorage, or similar client-side storage
  • No browser fingerprinting
  • No personal identifiers (name, email, phone, device ID)
  • No cross-site or cross-device tracking

Legal Basis

We process data under the legitimate interest basis (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) to understand which companies visit our website and improve our product. Given the pseudonymised nature of the data and the absence of cookies or direct identifiers, we believe this does not override your rights and freedoms. You may object to this processing at any time by contacting us.

Data Retention

Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 24 months, after which it is automatically deleted.

Third-Party Services

We use Amazon Web Services (EU region) for hosting and storage, Cloudflare for content delivery and analytics, IPinfo for IP-to-company resolution, and Dealfront (Leadfeeder) for visitor company identification. Where a processor is based outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate transfer safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or port your data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we do not store direct personal identifiers, we may need additional information from you to locate your data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
